Our Form F Assessors play a key role in delivering a first-class fostering service for children by undertaking comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers. Working on a self-employed, sessional basis, Form F Assessors are responsible for conducting detailed home studies, gathering and analysing information, and producing high-quality Form F assessment reports that support robust decision-making.

We are seeking individuals with the skills, experience, and commitment required to undertake these assessments and contribute to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Key Tasks:

• Assess and prepare prospective foster carers
• Counsel out those applicants not suitable for the agency
• Prepare Form F reports for panel
• Present assessments to fostering panel

Rates of Pay:

• £2132.10 per completed assessment (includes supervision and panel attendance)
• £25.09 per hour for uncompleted assessments
• £242.73 Fast Track Assessment Bonus
• £153.30 Initial Visit
• £46.86 Half Day Learning & Development Workshop/induction sessions (No mileage paid)
• £93.72 Full Day Learning & Development Workshop (No mileage paid)
• 45p per mile for assessment related and any Team Fostering instigated training mileage
• No travel time paid for journeys to and from training activities

Please note access to a car and the ability to drive is essential in this role. You will also be required to undertake some evening and weekend work.
