Team Fostering is a reputable non-profit fostering agency known for providing high-quality care to Children & Young People. We pride ourselves on our values and commitment to our ethical principles in everyday work.

Due to a reorganisation of Team Fostering’s panels, we are seeking to appoint Independent Panel Members. Panels are held monthly, but due to our successful recruitment campaigns, additional panels may be scheduled as required. Panels are facilitated via Teams but occasionally some face to face panels may be required.  Candidates applying should possess relevant knowledge regarding the needs of children.

Independent Panel Members fee: £250

Team Fostering are seeking passionate and suitably qualified/experienced members to join our Fostering Panel. The fostering panel provides independent oversight of the recruitment, assessment and review of foster carers and makes recommendations on their suitability to foster.

We are seeking to appoint a range of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Strong listening, written and communication skills are essential as is the ability to discuss the reports presented in a professional manner, ensuring decisions are balanced, evidenced based and informed.

Applicants should possess relevant professional or personal experience. Experience may include work in education, health, as a foster carer, or having personal experience of being looked after as a child or young person.
