Finance Officer
Location: Sheffield
We offer hybrid working which includes a blend of home and office working with a minimum of one day per week in our office
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9.00 am – 5.00 pm over 5 days with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
Salary: £25,790.69 to £29,802.57 per annum depending upon experience.

We are looking to recruit a Finance Officer to carry out the agency’s financial transactions with the support of a Finance Manager in this key internal business area. You will play a key part in embedding financial procedures ensuring adherence to all contractual, statutory and external requirements and regulations.
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate experience and knowledge of:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Finance department
- Purchase ledger experience
- Bookkeeping experience
- Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
- Ability to work as part of a team and to communicate effectively with team members working different hours and in different locations
- Experience using financial software packages
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Up to date knowledge of financial regulations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle complex issues with empathy
- Strong financial, analytical and numerical skills
- IT skills using office software packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and PowerPoint
You will be very flexible and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to undertake continuing professional development.
